Realising I needed to improve my drawing skills I continued to practice my transport design skills. I found the best way to do this was to not think too much about the end-product and to just draw the first thing that came to my head. This help me as I was able to get more drawing on my sheet of paper. I drew motorcycles the most as I felt that they would be the easiest to do at my skill level.
After looking at my sketches I wanted to experiment with a material and try creating the body of a motorcycle. The type of wood I used was MDF. I started by drawing the shape of the body and using the band saw to cut larger pieces of wood into a smaller section. Next, I used a chisel and hammer to carve out the shape of the motorcycle. By the end of the day I had a complete motorcycle body.
